A clear guide to refunds for courses, services, and digital access.

This policy explains when refunds are and are not available for purchases from OET with Dr. Ahmed Hesham ("we", "us", "our", or "the Platform"). Please read it before buying. It does not affect statutory rights that cannot be excluded by law.
1. How Digital Purchases Work
Our products are digital and delivered online, and many give immediate access. Under UK consumer law you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a digital purchase — but that right is lost once you agree to immediate access and the content is supplied, downloaded, or used. By completing your purchase and starting your service, you consent to immediate delivery and accept that the cancellation right no longer applies.
In short: once content, course access, AI credits, a correction, or a booked session has been delivered, accessed, or used, it is generally non-refundable unless it is faulty or a refund is required by law.

3. The Detail
a) Recorded digital courses. Refundable before you first access the course. Once you have opened or started viewing it, it is non-refundable unless faulty.
b) Live online courses. Refundable before the course begins. Once the course has started, or once recordings or materials have been released to you, it is non-refundable unless required by law.
c) Writing correction packages. Each submission is treated individually. A submission is non-refundable once it has been corrected and returned. Unused, unsubmitted corrections within a package may be refunded at our discretion.
d) Speaking sessions. - Cancel or reschedule 48 hours or more before your session — eligible for rescheduling or a refund. - Cancel within 48 hours of your session — not refundable. - Miss the session or fail to attend (no-show) — not refundable.
e) Mock exams and AI credits. Once AI credits have been used, or a mock exam has been started or submitted, they are non-refundable. Credits that are completely unused may be refunded at our discretion.
f) Digital books and downloadable materials. Non-refundable once download or access has been provided, unless the file is faulty or a refund is required by law.
4. Faulty or Misdescribed Content
If something is faulty, defective, or not as described, contact us promptly. In line with your legal rights, we will repair, replace, or refund the affected item.
5. Requesting a Refund
Email support@oetwithdrhesham.co.uk with your order details and the reason for your request. We aim to acknowledge requests within a few working days and to handle them fairly.
6. How Refunds Are Paid
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe or PayPal. The time for funds to appear depends on your provider and may take several working days.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
